The Omega Products Family has been in business
since 1958. The owner and President, Mr. Robert Leo has been in the business since 1971.
Mr. Leo was President of the Acme Juicer Company from 1978 through 1984, when the company
was sold to the Waring Corporation. Mr. Leo then started Olympic Products in 1985. The
Corporation ran as Olympic Products for roughly 2 years then changed its name to Omega
products, Inc. In 2008 Omega was purchased by The Legacy Companies, another
family-run business. Omega is one of the oldest US companies selling juicers.
We have found that Omega has excellent customer service and makes some of the world's
finest juicers.
Our
current favorite model is the Omega VSJ843. It can juice most any fruit and
vegetable, and achieves a higher yield that most other juicers. If you want to juice alot of leafy greens then the Omega NC800 or NC900 would be your best
choice. They are easy to clean and great for making "green" juices that include
leafy greens, celery and a few carrots. If you want to juice fast, and juice mostly
carrots, apples, celery then the Omega Big Mouth is the way to go.
