The Vegetarians of Colorado Springs
Founded in 1975, the Vegetarian Society of Colorado is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, educational organization dedicated to upholding the standards of vegetarianism. We sponsor community outreach programs, educational events, potluck dinners, and speakers to bring people together to discuss and live humane, healthful, and environmentally responsible alternatives to the meat-oriented lifestyle. The VSC now has five branch groups in Colorado and over 500 members statewide.
People in Colorado Springs are encouraged to join our branch of the VSC for a chance to meet other vegetarians through our potlucks, restaurant outings, hikes, and book club.
